Gorgeous, sexy, (well, ok, maybe not sexy) vintage Elkhart Conn brass cornet serial number 815190, which should mean manufacture c. 1959. This instrument plays well and seems to have good compression. No dents save a couple very tiny dings; slide bends have no dents; no red rot. (please see photos for details) Shining, bright Lacquer finish has a few scratches and wear spots but is over 90% intact. All caps and slides move freely, and valves rebound nicely; valves look good. Cleaned and lubed. Comes with vintage Conn 4 mouthpiece, in excellent condition with beautiful silverplate; rim in excellent shape. Also includes a case which is functional, with operational locks; inside clean and not too tatty. Super nice specimen of the rock-like Conn Director.
