Fender CIJ ‘62 reissue Jazz Bass in Olympic White. Made by Fender Japan, this model was a short run produced primarily for the Japanese market, with vintage correct touches such as spiral bridge saddles and a set of USA-made Fender pickups.
The bass weighs 9lbs 1oz.
The one piece maple neck has a medium C shape at the nut (1 1/2" width), tapering to a more substantial C shape as you travel up the slab rosewood fretboard. The profile measures .855" deep at the 1st fret, graduating to 1.005" at the 12th. The fretboard has a vintage 7.25" radius with original frets that show virtually no wear and feature flawless crowns. Recently strung with D‘Addario nickel wound 45-105’s.
There's barely a scratch on the body, save for a slight bump or dimple on the cutaway (pictured) and the finish shows virtually no aging of the clear coat. The neck profile is almost flawless, with a smooth ambered gloss.
Comes with a gig bag. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking.
