I got this incredible Strat in 1971, in Woodstock, NY! It then became my main guitar thru 1975 when I was using it on tour and in the studio with John Prine and then found my 53 Tele. I used this strat on countless recordings and tours with folks like Don McLean, Dusty Springfield, Janis Ian, The Bee Gees, John Prine. Eric Andersen, Looking Glass and many more artists, including my first 4 or 5 solo albums. In 1971 Fender fixed the truss rod, which was broken and rewound the middle pickup. Gorgeous round C shaped neck and one piece ash body. 7.2 lbs. Just an amazing example of the 1st year of this iconic guitar!
