1950s Guyatone Model A "Amprifier" Amplifier Lap Steel Guitar Combo Amp グヤトーン

Very rare Guyatone Model A amplifier. Please see the attached video for a quick functionality test.

Specifications

• Dimensions (not including handle): 15.8cm x 22.6 x 29. These dimensions were measured at the base. Please note that there is a slant in the front, so the top dimensions will be different in terms of the length.
• This amp uses 2x 6AV6, 1x 5MK9, and 1x 6AR5 tubes. All tubes have been tested with a tube tester and result in GOOD. Though considering their age, I would recommend the buyer to consider replacing them in the near future.
• The unit is wired for 100VAC. I'm happy to wire it to 117VAC upon the buyer's request.

Condition

• There's rust and dings, etc. on the unit. Please reference the pictures as much as possible.
• The amp has a slight hum to it.
• Please see 'Repairs' below for other.

Repairs

• All capacitors have been replaced. The originals will be included, along with the canned capacitor mount. A three-prong power cord was added to the unit. The original power cord (what's left of it) will also be included.
• The original AC switch was not functioning properly and has been replaced with a switch from a late 60s vocal amplifier. The original AC switch will be included.
• The original fuse was replaced and will be included.
• 5 of the original screws holding the back panel have been replaced. Unfortunately, two of the screws on the right side of the panel in the picture have broken off, so new screws could not be added to this holes. This is the same case with the 1 screw on the bottom left holding the chassis to cabinet. The original screws will all be included.
• Upon receiving the unit, the wooden supporting brackets on one side fell off, so I used wood glue to attach them back to the cabinet. Before and after pictures have been added. I cannot say for certain if the same could result for the other side, especially after shipping, so please consider this a possibility. Due to how old this unit is, I will not be giving refunds, so please do not purchase this amplifier if you are concerned with this scenario.
• The rubber grommet used on the chassis for the power cord has been replaced.

Shipping and No Return / Refund Policy

• The tubes and tube holders will be removed prior to shipping and individually wrapped with bubble wrap.
• Unfortunately, I do not accept returns under any circumstance. Although this unit has been tested, please assume that the worst is possible such as the unit does not work, as a component could go bad or come loose between shipping and when it reaches the buyer's hands. Although I've yet to encounter such an experience, in the event it occurs, I do not accept returns under any circumstances, so please consider this before making a purchase, especially considering the cost of this pedal.
