Selling my dream guitar. A very clean August of 1965 fender jazzmaster that was modified at some point long ago to have early 70's wide range humbuckers put in. I would say a mod like this hurts the value. And 99.99999999% of the time it would. But I firmly believe that this is the one time it doesn't.

This is a unicorn. You will never find another vintage jazzmaster with this mod. Done before Lee Renaldo from Sonic Youth made this a popular modification. You won't find another with vintage pickups. This was someone's hotrod. And we just found it in the barn.

Super clean original finish.

100% unmodified other than the pickups.

Currently setup with a mastery bridge, original is included.

Sound and playability is incredible.

Original case is in near mint condition as well.

The body was slightly routed to accept the pickups. It was professionally done, you can tell. Only a small amount of the cavity was shaved. Millimeters. Not a hack job at all. In fact it was such a small amount, the only reason I noticed was the missing paint. Could be touched up and put back to stock. But seriously don't. This is too rare and too unique to make it like every other one out there.

International shipping price is set very high because I don't want to ship international and reverb won't let me exclude it.
