Crazy Cheap Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet--New Valentino Master's Pads!

One of the least expensive R13’s we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in nickel.  Sn 310XXX makes it 1988.  It is in excellent playing condition, but priced low due to some plating wear mostly on the rings and register key as seen in the photos, and a repaired crack in the upper which is pinned and sealed so nicely that you probably would have gone months without knowing it was ever there.  Both are cosmetic only, and affect the instrument in no way other than to save you several hundred dollars compared to most of our other R13’s.  Unlike many R13’s you may be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, polished, and repadded with Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads—one of the longest lasting, quietest pads on the market.  Plays very nicely across the entire instrument with a soft, even feel to the key work and excellent intonation due in part to the included Moennig 650 reverse taper barrel.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does included a new SuperSlick chamois swab, new ProTec microfiber cloth, a Buffet 125 Series mouthpiece in an F3A facing, and a Vandoren Hygo Case for reeds—itself a $40 value.  Comes in the brown, deluxe, leather attache case in good condition with just external wear.The springs that pop the latches up are broken, but the latches do hold securely.  Gold hardware.  Currently selling at M&A for a whopping $4,216, so save more than $2,600, and snatch up the perfect horn for your student’s first professional clarinet!
