Ivy Pedals is proud to present the Petulance SuperOverdrive effect pedal, a brand new design for 2025...
Petulance is a transistor-based cascaded gain stage overdrive capable of boost, drive, distortion, and fuzz tones. Originally conceived by chaining the amplifier sections of a RadioShack mic mixer, this 'superoverdrive' effect is now in formal pedal release.
CONTROLS
- GAIN - input gain/drive/crunch
- TONE - high frequency roll-off
- ANGER - 3 SETTINGS: 2 gain stages / 3 stages / 4 stages
- LEVEL - output volume
- Tone Switch - tone cutoff reduced by 1 octave
- Clip Switch - 3 SETTINGS: symmetrical clipping (hi) / no clipping (very loud!) / asymmetrical clipping (low)
Runs on standard 9v DC, features top load DC and in/out jacks, two LEDs for extra visibility, and of course, the gold jacks, footswitch, and knobs.
This is a somewhat large brick of a pedal, so this is my first top-load release to free some room on the sides...
