The Arturia AudioFuse X8 IN is an 8-channel analog input expander designed to extend the input capacity of compatible audio interfaces via ADAT optical connection. It provides eight balanced analog line inputs and transmits digital audio over dual ADAT optical ports, supporting sample rates up to 96 kHz using S/MUX operation.

The unit employs AKM analog-to-digital converters for 24-bit/96 kHz recording resolution. Dual ADAT outputs enable flexible integration into studio routing configurations. The AudioFuse X8 IN is housed in a 1U half-rack chassis constructed for studio installation, with included rack ears and assembly kit for rackmount use. It can also operate as a desktop unit depending on workspace requirements.

Front-panel LED VU metering allows monitoring of input levels in real time. The included external power supply and plug adapters provide consistent operation across supported regions.
