1960s Teisco Del Rey electric guitar in sunburst finish with the distinctive floral-pattern pickguard and classic Japanese vintage styling.

This is a very cool survivor with the character you want in an original-era Teisco. The guitar shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including scratches, finish wear, hardware patina, and some more noticeable finish/chipping at the top edge of the headstock. I’ve tried to photograph the condition clearly, so please review all photos carefully.

The guitar features a single pickup, volume and tone controls, vintage-style bridge and tailpiece, open-back tuners, and the original-style Teisco Del Rey headstock badge. The sunburst body and ornate floral pickguard give it a particularly great period look.

Overall, it presents very well for a roughly 60-year-old instrument and would make an excellent addition for someone interested in vintage Japanese guitars, garage rock, surf, lo-fi, or quirky 1960s electrics.

Condition notes:

Please refer closely to the photos for the cosmetic condition, as they are considered part of the description.

A genuinely fun piece of 1960s Japanese guitar history with tons of visual character.
