The Epiphone Dobro Hound Dog Round Neck Resonator is shaped after the iconic Dobro resonator guitar. Known for defining an era of bluegrass and folk music, this classic instrument provides a modern twist. The Hound Dog Resonator is crafted with a laminated maple body that exude exceptionally bright and responsive tones, complete excellent sustain.
Featuring a classic Dobro Single Cone resonator, the Hound Dog creates a full, rich soundscape that has astounding projection, and provides that distinctive character and unique sound. It's topped with a nickel-plated fan cover that creates a beautiful contrast with the rich Vintage Brown finish. Pick it up and you'll notice the luscious mahogany neck and soft pau ferro fingerboard, supremely comfortable and responsive, it will be hard to put back down! Complete with classic 'F' holes, a 3-a-side headstock and a nickel-plated tailpiece, the Hound Dog boasts unmistakably bluegrass appearance.
