Walrus Audio 385 Overdrive MkII Effect Pedal - Black - New

Some of the most distinctive sounds in guitar history have emanated from unexpected places, and Walrus Audio’s 385 Overdrive is no exception. Inspired by the audio output section of a vintage tube-powered film projector, the original 385 became a beloved tool for creating unique tones. The 385 Overdrive MkII takes that legacy to the next level with an enhanced control section, delivering even more versatility and creative potential.

The MkII features a secondary A/B footswitch, A/B Gain knobs, and A/B Volume controls, enabling you to switch seamlessly between two custom-crafted presets. Additionally, the new 385+ setting injects an extra gain stage for wild, heavier tones. This raw, raspy bite is perfect for guitarists seeking an idiosyncratic dirt pedal to stand out in a sea of overdrives.

Features:

• Expanded V2 version of Walrus Audio’s 385 Overdrive with a significantly enhanced control section.
• Tonally inspired by the tube-powered audio section of a vintage Bell and Howell 385 Filmosound projector unit.
• 18V operation delivers the dynamic feel of a true tube amp.
• 2-band global EQ for precise tone shaping.
• A/B Footswitch with dedicated A/B Volume and Gain knobs for quick preset swaps.
• Red/White LED indicator for easy preset identification.
• 385+ switch adds an extra gain stage for aggressive tube-style saturation.
• Soft-touch switch with true-bypass to preserve your dry tone.
• Top-mount jacks for easy pedalboard integration.
