Very nice Martin OM-28 Marquis from 2005. These guitars were spec'd like the acclaimed Golden Era instruments, but without Brazilian rosewood for export considerations. This example sounds amazing and plays fantastic. It has had a couple tasteful upgrades, including EVO frets, Antique Acoustic non-slotted bridge pins and slotted bridge, ivoroid Waverly tuners, and an upgraded tortoise pickguard. The original pickguards Martin used at the time were pixelated and rather shabby looking. Never had electronics installed--or even the end-pin! Clean Martin case showing mild discoloration to the fleece inside and some wear on the latches. The only defect is a finish ding in on the bass side of the neck at the second fret. Easily fixed by a luthier, but it never bothered me.
