Fender American Series Ash Telecaster with Maple Fretboard 2003 - 2007 - Honey Blonde
2007 8502 Fender American Series Ash Telecaster in Blonde. The 8502 Telecaster was the smallest production run model to ever roll off the line in California. It was made in small batches from 2003 to early 2008. Combined, the number of 8502s ever made made is approximately 2300. Designed as a cross between vintage and modern specs, the 8502 was loaded with the incredible "modern vintage" single coil pickups, that have never been available anywhere else, before or since.
Was rewired with a Bill Lawrence style circuit with the 5-way switch acting as 2 three way selectors. This has been changed back to the original wiring with a new 3 way selector which was installed by a professional luthier based in Brisbane.
Will include the old control plate and wiring which puts the bridge pickup is in the centre position, and going forward adds neck to bridge and then neck alone. Going backward from centre (bridge) adds neck to bridge and then neck alone with a different capacitor to fatten up this pickup. The difference is that one of the "in-between" positions (2 or 4) is more "out-of-phase" than the other.
Some minor scuffs and dings, see photos for more detail, but in good working order.
Comes with OHSC and can delivery or post as required.
