Play the chord shapes you already know — in a brighter, requinto-like register — with a real bass string underneath. The SieteQuinto is a short-scale 7-string nylon guitar tuned up to G, like a capo at the 3rd fret, with a 7th string that doubles your 5th string an octave lower (low C). Melody, harmony and bass on one instrument, no capo, no new fingerings.

Designed by Latin jazz guitarist Roberto "ATTO" Castro for solo performers, looping artists and restaurant players who need a full sound from one guitar. Built by our partner workshop, then inspected, set up and play-tested by hand in Clermont, Florida before it ships to you.
