• EarthQuaker Devices is proud to introduce you to your new best bud, Gary. This little big guy was dreamt up by the one and only Lee Kiernan from the crushing and most necessary band IDLES!

Gary started as a simple request to create a compact version of the now discontinued Gray Channel®, which was a mainstay on Lee’s board and a big part of his main drive tone. This was all fine and good, and sounded quite sick, but Gary was demanding that we look deeper and explore his dark side a little more, Gary after dark, Saturday night Gary. So, we sat him down and began the trek of figuring out old Gare-Bear once and for all. The result is a dynamic and destructive pulse width modulated fuzz paired with a natural-sounding op-amp overdrive.“Yes!” Controls the sensitivity for the envelope or sets the pulse width limit when using an expression pedal. “Oosh” is the master volume for the fuzz. Overdrive section from the legendary and sought-after Gray Channel, capable of producing thick, full distortion or for use as a clean boost. “Go” is the gain control for the overdrive. “That’s It” is the master volume for the overdrive. All-analog signal path. True bypass.

3 Modes Of Impeccable Sounding Delay

Each of the three modes offers up to one second of delay time. From noon and back is 500 milliseconds to zero, which has its own character. From 500 milliseconds to one second of delay time, it’s an entirely different beast. Dial them in for shorter delay times where they really excel and add loads of atmosphere and vibes. Push them further for rhythmic delays that are perfect for strumming and adding extra ambiance for your riffs. Each of the three delay modes is uniquely different and offers its own unique character when selected.
