The PRS Special Semi-Hollow 10-Top in Fire Red Smokeburst offers a versatile hum/single/hum configuration with two PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup. The Narrowfield brings single-coil-style bite, clarity, and punch without the hum.
A five-way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the 58/15 LT humbuckers provide twelve pickup combinations. The humbucking and single-coil settings maintain even volume levels, while the tone control lets you move from warmer growl to brighter shimmer. The semi-hollow body with a single f-hole adds airiness and depth.

PRS's general 2024 tuner update note: PRS updated the tuning machines on many Core guitars with Wing buttons designed to echo the wingspan of the 12th-fret bird inlay. Originally conceived for tonal reasons in 1982, these lighter buttons were designed to subtract less energy from vibrating strings, helping the guitar ring longer and at a more musical note.
