Unweighted mahogany body, three-piece maple top, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and vintage 50s neck profile, custom Burstbucker pickups with Alnico 2 magnets, hardshell case

A hard rock tribute to Slash’s number one stage guitar

Fans of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver will no doubt be familiar with the guitar Slash named “Jessica.” Jessica has been Slash’s primary stage guitar since 1988. The original Jessica was a factory second guitar and one of two Les Paul™ guitars Gibson sent to Slash in the late 80s. Now, Gibson is proud to introduce a new model based on Slash’s old favorite. Jessica features a three-piece raw maple top over an unweighted mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a vintage 50s neck profile. Jessica is equipped with a pair of Custom Burstbucker™ pickups with Alnico 2 magnets hand-wired to Orange Drop® capacitors. The guitar originally came in a gloss Cherry Sunburst finish, but Slash had the Jessica refinished, which is reflected, without the considerable road wear of the original, in the gloss nitrocellulose Honey Burst with Red Back finish used on the new model. Slash’s signature is reproduced on the truss rod cover, and Schaller strap locks come pre-installed on the guitar. Other extras include a set of Slash picks, a USA leather strap, a multi-tool, and a blank truss rod cover in the included hardshell case.
