Limitless Self-Expression
The new Gibson Victory was created in response to player demand for the return of this cult favorite from the '80s. Designed for limitless self-expression, it carries the DNA of the originals with enhanced features such as refined body contours, improved weight and balance and an Explorer™ headstock. The Victory has a 25.5-inch scale length and the mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard with a compound radius for improved playability, a SlimTaper™ profile and 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body features a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece and is finished in a satin nitrocellulose lacquer. Highly flexible electronics include two '80s Tribute™ humbucking pickups wired for push/pull, master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and inner/outer coil selection when coil split, which, along with the three-position pickup selector switch, provide a wide range of humbucker and single-coil tone options with a minimum number of controls. Also included is a Gibson hardshell case.
