This is an old Oahu amp from I believe the late 1930's. What you see is what you get with this one. Our town is not far from Cleveland and I'm told that back in the day, Oahu reps would go door to door selling these amps along with Hawaiian guitars. They would make you a deal, then they'd come back weekly for your time payment and give you a lesson on the instrument. It's an interesting concept that has not survived to today.
This has the original Made in Cleveland Rola speaker. I put this in the shop and the tech replaced a couple of leaky capacitors which you can see in the plastic bag. He did whatever else you do to these to bring them up to playing condition and here it is. Not bad for a nearly 80 year old amp.
it weighs around 16 lbs. The handle is present, attached and working.
I don't know much more about it than that but I'll do my best to try to answer any questions you have.
I pack these things for shipment myself and I do it with the same care as if I were shipping it to my brother. That said, the amount you pay for shipping includes full insurance for the price you will have paid for the amp so you're covered should something happen during shipping.
thanks for having a look.
peace,
Don
