2007 Ibanez RG2550E J.Craft Prestige Galaxy Black w/ DiMarzio/IBZ Pickups, Edge Pro Bridge

For sale, we have this 2007 Ibanez RG2550E, a standout model from the highly regarded Prestige series, crafted in Japan. This guitar offers the legendary playability, tonal versatility, and precision that have made the RG line a favorite among modern guitarists. Finished in a sleek galaxy black with subtle metallic sparkle, it’s as visually striking as it is performance-ready.

This RG2550E features the updated shark tooth inlays introduced in 2007, which perfectly complement its high-performance look and feel. The Wizard neck lives up to its reputation, providing an ultra-slim, fast playing experience, while the jumbo frets ensure effortless bending and clean note articulation. Importantly, the back of the neck remains free of any dings, dents, or wear, ensuring a smooth playing experience from top to bottom.

At the heart of its sound are the factory-installed DiMarzio/IBZ pickups in an H-S-H configuration, delivering a wide tonal palette that’s perfect for nearly any genre. These pickups excel at clarity and punch, whether you’re going for clean, articulate tones or heavy, aggressive distortion. The 5-way selector switch makes it easy to dial in everything from shimmering single-coil tones to thick, crunchy humbucker leads. Paired with the Edge Pro tremolo system, this guitar ensures rock-solid tuning stability while enabling expressive dive bombs and subtle vibrato work.

This guitar is in very good condition, with several chips and dings around the edges of the body as well as a noticeable scratch on the top near the bass side cutaway. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the guitar remains structurally sound, and its playability is unaffected. It comes with the original J. Craft hardshell case, which provides both protection and that Prestige-level flair. The case has had a crack on the backside bottom corner, but it has been repaired, and currently appears as pictured.

To ensure this guitar plays at its absolute best, it has been serviced by our in-house tech. The frets have been polished to a high shine, making bends and slides smooth and effortless. It’s been set up with fresh strings set to play low and easy for fast, comfortable playing across the entire fretboard. Whether you’re shredding solos or laying down intricate rhythms, this guitar feels ready for anything.

If you’re looking for a professional-grade instrument with the speed, versatility, and tone to handle anything you throw at it, this 2007 Ibanez RG2550E is the perfect choice. A true workhorse with all the features you need for shredding, riffing, and everything in between.
