Inspired by iconic Fender electric guitar designs, the California Player acoustic evokes the spirit of West Coast adventure and freedom, inviting players to explore their individual creativity and disrupt the status quo.
Crafted with a solid X-braced spruce top and sapele back and sides, the Villager™ 12-string features a no-cutaway Newporter auditorium body shape that produces a versatile voice that’s both articulate and powerful while providing a comfortable feel for hours of inspiration. The nato neck is designed with an easy-playing, thin “C”-shaped profile with graphite reinforcement rods for stability, a 24.75” scale length for comfortable tension and a 1960s-inspired “hockey stick” headstock for a distinctive look born from Fender’s acoustic heritage. Other notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth, precise tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle for the signature 12-string chime, and a Fishman® Flex preamp system that faithfully reproduces the guitar's natural sound when plugged into an amplifier or recording device. A deluxe gig bag is included.
