The remastered X Series is made to play. The D-X2E 12-string Brazilian electro-acoustic features a hand-rubbed satin spruce top with an elegant abalone-patterned rosette and eye-catching Brazilian rosewood-patterned high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides for increased durability and looks, without sacrificing that classic Martin tone. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a slightly beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, plus a modernized bridge contour for a smooth, comfortable playing experience. It also features a select hardwood neck, fingerboard and bridge for improved tone and sustain, plus Martin E-1 electronics with an onboard chromatic tuner and volume, tone and phase controls. The D-X2E’s iconic 12-string Brazilian Dreadnought body size is strong and projective with powerful bass, lending itself to any genre and experience level, while the extra strings provide a unique layer of chime, tone and texture. All X Series models come with a softshell case.
