This Spector Performer 4 string bass has been upgraded with Aguilar p/j pickups! The sound/tone is amazing into my Ampeg Rocket combo with the Ampeg Opto compressor In our studio! This bass weighs 7.9 lbs., it really is an awesome representation of what Spector basses bring to the bass world! I’ve played it at Church in our Praise Band and it cuts through the mix easily going direct box to FOH! The only reason I’m selling it is to fund my dream bass, Music Man Dark Ray!
You will not be disappointed with this bass, it is strung with flatwounds that deliver that mellow sizzle that only flats can deliver! It slaps extremely well even with the flats! The neck is slim and smooth, if you like a slim neck you will love this bass!!!!
