This is a superb Atkin OM-37 acoustic guitar in a Natural Aged finish. Handcrafted in the UK in 2022 this 000 acoustic guitar is based very closely on the pre-war guitars which are revered by so many players. The 00037 features an all-solid-wood construction, with a Torrefied Sitka Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, pre-war scalloped Red Spruce bracing, a 20 fret Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard & bridge, along with a bone nut and saddle.
The neck plays superbly well, feeling nice and assured in the hand, with a very soft 'V' profile that offers comfortable and ergonomic thumb positioning. The 14-fret OM body shape paired with the short 24.9" scale make for an exceptionally comfortable instrument to play, offering a lively and responsive playing experience.
The tone of the 00037 is very well balanced, with a warm low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with sweet, singing trebles, overall a super all-round acoustic guitar, perfect for those who want the clarity and power of a dreadnought without compromising on playability. If you're after an authentic 000 experience, the Atkin 00037 is the guitar for you!
