This is a Sony dfs-300 4 source DVE rack mount VIDEO mixer/workstation w an exceptionalllllly RARE fx expansion. It comes COMPLETE, tested and very much working. In the analog video resurgence of the late twenty tens Broadcast DVE units kind of stayed out of the limelight, often overshadowed by Fairlights, modern video synthesizers and glitch gear. .. which is wild! They are my personal obsession and have been my secret weapons for years… however it’s time to part with a number of units. The 300 has glorioussss transitions, effects, mixer feedback, 2 bus tbc, color correction, keying and snapshot capabilities. The unit itself functions fantastically. It comes as a controller and chassis combo. The controller has a little wear and the joystick broken off. That said the joystick still functions fine. This unit in particular is special because the effects card is expanded with additional 3d FX. You have more transitions and effects possible on this unit then the stock 300. Veryyyy rare... Whoever picks this up will not be disappointed.

You can try your hand at purchasing bits and pieces of DVE units on ebay, crossing your fingers and hoping that you eventually assemble a working system. But it can be frustrating and expensive. I know because I've been doing it for the last ten years, pissing away thousands in the process. Even if you did play that game the chances of you stumbling upon this rare FX expanded (an additional 3d effects IC is present on the FX board) DME-300 are pretty facking rare.
