Vintage 1965 Silvertone 600 Series Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar, made by Harmony in Chicago, USA in 1965. The 600 Series is in the same family as Harmony's popular H162 and H165 models, with the same body woods as used on the Sovereign H164 and H169 Buck Owens models. Solid spruce top with birch back and sides with cool two tone Silvertone sunburst finish. Guitar has had work done over the years including a neck reset, rosewood bridge with bone saddle, fret work, plays great with nice low action with extra light 80/20 bronze strings. Patina left intact with plenty of blemishes and finish imperfections. Slight crack on back waist with line on shoulder near neck pocket, dings, stains, etc. on body. Tuners are tarnished and work fine, better than most old Waverlys. Neck is great and plays nice up and down the neck with nice chunky neck. Neck set Ladder braced top and back with some glue repairs on a few of the back braces. New bridge pins and original hard nylon nut and plastic endpin. New ferrules installed on tuners. Ships with old case with padded neck rest/storage compartment intact, torn exterior, dirty interior and seams coming loose near handle, ok for shipping/storage. Packed well and shipped quickly with experience you can trust, thanks for looking!
