This 1979 25th Anniversary (1954-79) Stratocaster is in great condition and clocks in at a decent (for the '70s Fenders) 4.24kg (9 1/3lbs). This one is serial no. 257636 ('25' being 25th Anniversary and '7636' the individual number from the run of 10,000) and features a reversal to the more traditional 4-bolt neck & heel adjustable truss rod (as opposed to the 3-bolt neck and Bullet truss of many other '70s Fenders). The model also features Fender-branded Sperzel tuners and a 'Porsche Silver' finish (early examples were finished in Pearl White but marked very easily so many examples were recalled and refin'd by Fender).

The original hard shell case is included (does have a broken hinge).

This example is in great shape with some small dings here and there (pictured) and the common 'greening' of the Porsche Silver finish.
