Ludwig 6.5"x14" Vintage Snare Drum, 1942, very rare, original blue/silver finish with some scratches, original nickel over brass parts, 3-ply maple/poplar/maple shell with wood reinforcing rings, dated inside March 27, 1942, vintage 12 wires Snappi Snare. The drum mute position seems strange but it's absolutely original from factory as photo in Ludwig catalog of 1942. Great vintage snare sound, modern heads fit easily on the shell.
