Selling my 1988 El Toro, the final year these rare birds were available. Neck appears to be stamped 1986, the body 1988. Apparently this was common for CLF for G&L and Musicman. What a great bass! Very versatile but can also get extremely aggressive!
Has some minor bumps and bruises for a 26 year old instrument nothing crazy all very minor. Frets are great, tons of life left. Truss moves smooth. No ski slope, straight and true. Low action, no dead spots, no buzz. Active/passive tone machine. The mini humbuckers sound massive. 9.5lbs.
Comes in a like new 2021 G&L/G&G tolex hard case.
