About this listing

A 2013 American Vintage 56' Straocaster in White Blonde. Kept in a clean, smoke-free environment since I bought it a year ago. Was at Chicago Music Exchange before that. It has a few dings and scratches consistent with a 13 year old guitar, see photos. Plays and sounds really great. Comes with a case, but no case candy. Overview

The American Vintage Series was originally developed in 1982 during the last years of CBS management with the '57 and '62 Reissues. In 1985, production moved to the new post-CBS Corona, CA plant, making them the only Strats made in the US during 1985 and the first ones to come out of Corona.

The American Vintage '56 Stratocaster is based on the 1956 specifications, including a "soft V" neck profile, period correct headstock, pickguard and vintage-style tremolo. It featured three American Vintage '56 single coil pickups.

This model replaces the '57 AVRI model.

Years of Production: 2012 - present
