This cymbal has a dark, full-bodied tone, it's a powerful and versatile sound. Not sure what Zildjian truly means by their over-hammering technique but it's quick, w/ a surprisingly bright attack. "Extra-fast decay, allowing a heavier crash to respond like a thinner cymbal but with more volume potential." It's dry, with some trashy overtones, has a decent bell for increased volume and clarity, cuts through and quickly. Super sturdy too but with some decent attack.
