The WA-19 meticulously revives a beloved 1960s studio and live dynamic mic, combining dynamic resilience with condenser-like clarity. It features a custom, hand-assembled dynamic cardioid humbucking capsule that offers effective noise rejection and minimised proximity effect, while enhancing clarity and detail beyond typical dynamic mics. This robust microphone incorporates an acoustic high-pass filter ring, cutting up to 10dB at 50Hz to eliminate low-frequency noise, making it perfect for recording cymbals, overheads, acoustic guitars, vocals, and more. With its unique blend of classic tone and modern capabilities, the WA-19 strikes the perfect balance between dynamic utility and condenser-like precision, suitable for both studio and live settings.
