☆Vintage 1960s Sanken Type G-3 Dynamic Microphone w/ XLR cable - Made in Japan
Our users rate Reverb
For sale is an incredibly rare microphone from Sanken made in 1963! Sanken is known today primarily for their condenser microphones, but they had some beautiful dynamic microphones earlier in their history. The original element in this microphone was replaced with a Beta 58A type capsule due to it no longer being functional. If you look closely, this microphone has extremely limited wear, and it would look great in use or on display. The sound profile of this microphone is extremely balanced, and I could see this microphone sounding great on a number of sources!
5/8 inch stand adapter will be affixed on this microphone for use with modern stands, unless requested otherwise
