This is an original King Model 606 trombone. This horn has virtually no denting having only remnants of dents on the bell section, and tuning slide. Finish is somewhat worn, and there are a few scratches here and there from normal use, as well as some finish wear present at hand contact points. Inner slide tubes have some wear on the stockings. Despite this, I rate the slide a 9/10 as it does not affect the playability. All braces are solid. Tuning slide moves nicely. Includes the original case, which is in good shape, minus a crack, and a small shank mouthpiece. Horn was serviced. Service may have included: Slide and tuning job and alignment, polish, and major/minor dent removal.

Horn is being sold as-is, with no returns in the condition shown in the pictures, so please review all images and message me with any questions. I'll be happy to respond to inquires!

I play, buy, collect and sell trombones and attempt to take pictures of the instrument and describe the horn in the way in which I would want it described. All the instruments I sell are in playable condition, unless otherwise stated. Slide rating is based on how the individual make and model should function new. Used horns may have cosmetic wear, which will be shown in the pictures. This cosmetic wear may or may not include minor or major imperfections in the finish, such as scratches, lacquer wear, finish wear, or remnants of dents. Used cases may also have imperfections, such as cracks, scuffs, dents, or be missing parts.

Payment for all purchases is due within 24hrs of purchase, unless a prior arrangement is made via the messaging system. All listings offer free shipping within the continental United States. Shipping is available to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally, upon request, at an additional cost. Please provide an address other than a P.O. box as I typically ship via UPS or FedEx, whichever is faster and most cost-effective. I have also found that UPS or FedEx packages tend to be handled with more care. The instrument will be well packed and insured. Most horns are shipped without any slide lubricant. Free, local pick-up is available in the DeKalb, IL area.
