I didn’t know what a Talent guitar was, but I got this one because it was obviously a quality instrument and had a great looking Gibson style headstock. After some research I found that Gibson made these as part of a music education program. They were less expensive than a Gibson and aimed at new guitar players. They were only made for a few years.
This is a great playing and sounding guitar. It has a beautiful spruce top and mahogany back sides and neck with a bound fretboard. I cleaned oiled and polished it and replaced the nut with bone. It also has new D’Addario strings and new wood and abalone bridge pins. This guitar is in excellent shape. It looks almost unused. It has one mark shown in the pictures that is invisible from most angles.
A beautiful Gibson quality guitar at a great price. Buy it before I fall in love with it and keep it!
