Soundtracs Topaz 14-4
One of two Soundtracs Topaz 14-4 mixers for sale. Only ever had careful use in a studio. Please ask if any more information or photos are required. All in good working order. Local pick up preferred. Buyer to arrange own courier if desired as there is no box.
This is a rare little mixer from the well-regarded but sadly defunct company Soundtracs. The pre's are clean, the noise floor is low, and the EQs -while they are fixed frequency- sound extremely good; very natural sounding response curves. I've had two separate Soundtracs consoles (one 32 ch Topaz one 24 ch “Solo Midi Studio") and they really do have excellent EQs- very “British” sounding. This is perfect for a small project studio- far better than any Mackie or Allen & Heath in this price range.
It has 14 channels (10 mono mic or balanced line w/ inserts + 2 x balanced stereo line), 2 sends, 2 returns, 2ch tape in and out, main L&R and 1&2 group outs as well as mono and headphones outs.
In good shape with some small surface scratches in the paint and on a knob or two.
Comes with original PSU.
