This Steinberger GM4T is a relic from the legendary Newburgh era, a time when innovation met precision. Fully restored by Jeff Babicz of Headless USA with paperwork to prove it, this guitar has been meticulously cared for. The frets have been repolished, and the EVH notch zero fret mod adds that extra bit of flair. Set up in standard tuning, the TransTrem works flawlessly—smooth, reliable, everything you’d expect from a Steinberger.
This is not a mint finish but a great natural relic finish. The guitar’s white finish has aged into a stunning natural yellow glow, with finish checking that tells a story even the camera can’t quite capture. Neck and frets? Flawless. It comes with both a soft-shell and hardshell case, along with the TransTrem arm tucked inside. As much as I love this guitar, it’s time for it to move on, as my custom Aristides 6-string takes center stage now. Don’t let this one gather dust—it's ready for its next adventure.
