This Gibson Custom L-5 "Gibson Master Model" Wes Montgomery is owned by George Benson
There is a fair amount of wear including scratches, scuffs, dings, finish cracks/lacquer loss and tarnishing throughout. Still, the guitar plays and sounds lovely. Finish cracks can be felt around the heel and along the binding. There is quite a bit of tarnishing on the pickup near the pickguard, as well as on the last few frets. There are a few cracks in the fretboard. This guitar could simply use a cleaning and a restring. Overall, a wonderful piece. Electronics are in proper working condition. Comes with hardshell case.
