Xotic AH Booster Allen Hinds Effects Pedal Silver Sparkle 120331467

The Xotic Effects AH Booster Allen Hinds pedal revives a legendary overdrive pedal with modern enhancements. Designed as a tribute to Allen Hinds' favorite distortion stompbox, the AC-Comp, this updated version gives you a tight yet smooth overdriven tone with more control and headroom.

Three Compression Settings Dial in Your Overdrive

With three different compression settings, you can choose how much sustain and distortion you want. The "Normal" setting provides a balanced overdrive with natural dynamics. The "Tight" setting emphasizes pick attack and a focused low end, ideal for rhythmic playing. The "Smooth" setting delivers maximum sustain and a creamy overdrive perfect for solos. Adjust the compression to suit your guitar and amp for the overdrive tone you need.

Active EQ Offers Tonal Flexibility

Shape your overdrive tone with the active EQ's treble and bass controls. Cut or boost each frequency range by up to 15dB to craft your ideal sound. Want a darker, vintage-voiced overdrive? Reduce the treble. Looking for extra clarity and definition? Increase the treble. The active EQ provides the tone-sculpting power to match this pedal's overdrive to your guitar and amp.

Runs at 18Volts for More Headroom

While the AH Booster will operate at standard 9volts, running it at 18volts gives you significantly more headroom and a tighter low end. The higher voltage means the overdrive has more power to drive your amp without distorting at lower settings. Guitar tones stay dynamic and touch-responsive. If you want maximum clean headroom and definition from your overdrive, supply 18volts of power.

Premium Overdrive in a Compact Pedal

The Xotic Effects AH Booster packs pro-level overdrive tone into a compact pedal. It features high-quality components for transparent and responsive overdrive. The die-cast aluminum enclosure is built to handle life on the road. If you're after a versatile overdrive pedal with the soul of a classic and modern refinements, the AH Booster delivers the tone and features of a premium stompbox in a small footprint.
