Up for grabs is this 1964 Vintage Fender Pre-CBS short scale Musicmaster guitar, with 3/4 size 22.5” scale length and Flame Maple neck. It has a vintage body only professional refin in two tone sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer. This beautiful Fender quality finish has a slightly greened yellowing hue and is in excellent shape with natural lacquer checking. The body also had a slight contour added on the back and front arm contour which makes the guitar very comfortable to play.

The body is loaded with a slanted pre-CBS brown Bakelite pickup cover, original 1964 stamped grey bobbin Pre-CBS Musicmaster pickup, vintage CTS pots and .05uf ceramic disc capacitor, and all vintage cloth wiring. The original bridge with 3 adjustable threaded saddles looks amazing paired with the 1964 pickguard with metal shield. The strap buttons are original vintage, and the knobs are Pure Vintage ‘58 reissues.

Superb Flame maple ’64 dated neck, complete with original finish and Kluson Deluxe tuners; it has a newer bone nut and reissue neck plate. The Brazilian Rosewood fretboard has 7.25” radius, real clay dots, vintage frets, 1.5” A bone nut width and medium C profile.

The guitar altogether is a featherweight at only 6.3 lb which is super light. It’ll ship with a 1964 denim Fender Bulwin short scale hard shell case (shown) with asking price only.
