When Ibanez set out to create with the FRH Series was a guitar with all the tonality of a nylon string guitar but with a playability and feel that would be more at home in the hands of an electric guitar player. What they created was a fully hollow body, nylon-strung version of their FR model. 

Sporting a solid Sitka Spruce top with Sapele back and sides and a Nyatoh neck with Walnut fretboard - staple tone woods amongst acoustic guitars. 

The thin, compact body, 46mm width nut, 400R fretboard radius, superior upper-fret access, and 22 frets all accumulate in what is a much more natural feeling guitar to someone more used to electrics.

The Walnut bridge transfers its natural and warm tone from the string vibrations directly to the body, which can be authentically felt and heard through the side sound port. The benefits of a side sound port over a front facing sound port is the considerably less feedback whilst using the Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle Pickup.
