The Sterling by Musicman John Petrucci MAJ100 Majesty electric guitar, is a truly innovative guitar, a result of a truly successful collaboration between Petrucci and the Ernie Ball Music Man design team.
Visually, the Majesty MAJ100 has a graceful, race inspired design, setting it visually apart from any other guitar on the market. The body, constructed from nyatoh, is married to a highly playable 3-piece nyatoh neck that is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. As per Petrucci's instructions, the neck is topped with a modern, 16" radius fingerboard, aiding playability, with Custom JP inlays and 24 medium jumbo set into it. In addition, the set neck design gives players ultra access to the upper frets .
The Petrucci MAJ100 comes loaded with a pair of versatile humbuckers, giving you instant access to those Petrucci tones loved the world over. There is added versatility courtesy of the 3-pickup selector switch which is fed though a push/push 12db boost switch set into the volume control.
Other appointments include the locking tuners, a modern, highly stable tremolo system. A Deluxe padded gig bas is also included as part of the package.
