Harmony / Silvertone “Palm Trees” Soprano Ukulele
I am selling a Harmony “Palm Trees” stenciled ukulele that was sold either under the “Harmony” or the “Silvertone” brand name.
Silvertone was the house brand of Montgomery Ward, and its ukuleles were made by Harmony.
This ukulele has the plastic fretboard that Harmony began using in 1958. It is all original.
The uke is in very, very good condition, actually exceptional condition if you take its age into consideration. It sounds fine, the intonation and action are good, and it is strung with new Oasis GPX Clear Fluorocarbon strings.
It is a nice, sturdy, very pretty, very functional ukulele, playable right out of the box (although the brand-new strings will naturally need some breaking in).
Please research this instrument and study the photos carefully before purchasing.
