The Custom Series wires feature medium-gauge wire with evenly spaced standard coils.
The Custom Series provides an even balance between snare response and shell sound. The Custom Series offers different strand configurations that can be employed to change the balance between the drum and snare response. Models with more strands tend to provide accentuated snare response, while models with fewer strands allow the shell to be more prominent in the drum sound.
- Evenly spaced coiled snare wires offer consistent snare response
- Steel coil produces a quick and crisp snare response
- All PureSound Snare Wires are designed and manufactured in the USA
