Here is a great playing 1974 Jazz Bass that is not completely original. The changes I found are the following:

• The jack has been moved to the side and an additional tone knob has been installed in the control plate.
• The neck pickup is non-original (black bobbin, unsure of make).
• Plain neck plate with no SN#
• One of the pots replaced with a CTS
• Allparts pickguard/screws installed

As far as I can tell, everything else is original and looks correct. Without the neckplate SN#, I dated the guitar by using the original pickup and neck stamp (see photos). The guitar plays great with great action, and the overall physical condition is very clean. I have adjusted the price to reflect the changes noted above, but feel free to make an offer.
