2024 PRS Modern Eagle V - Faded Whale Blue

If you are looking for the proverbial "desert island" guitar that can truly do it all, the PRS Modern Eagle V in Faded Whale Blue is the end of your search. This isn't just a guitar; it's a command center for tone, born from Paul Reed Smith's relentless pursuit of perfection. Built on the classic foundation of a resonant mahogany back and a stunning maple top, this instrument sings with a rich, balanced voice that cuts through the mix with the clarity and sustain that PRS is legendary for. The Pattern mahogany neck, capped with a luxurious rosewood fretboard, feels instantly familiar—like shaking hands with an old friend—offering the perfect blend of substance and speed.

Where the Modern Eagle V really leaves the competition behind is its groundbreaking electronics. It features a Hum/Single/Hum configuration with TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups that offer hyper-realistic, musical textures. But the magic lies in the switching: a 5-way blade, two mini-toggles for coil-splitting, and a push/pull tone knob allow you to access a staggering array of sounds, from glassy single-coil chime to roaring humbucker aggression. It is a toolbox that would make session legends jealous. Whether you're chasing the vintage spirit of the original Modern Eagle lineage or forging new sonic paths, this guitar is ready to handle any genre you throw at it.
