This spotless 2004 Yamaha SG3000 is in premium collector's condition. It looks brand, spanking new — like it just left the Yamaha factory! Nary a fingerprint, let alone a scratch, and all the gold plating is absolutely pristine. In fact, the whole guitar is pristine.

With its dark Burgundy Burst, Mother of Pearl inlays, Abalone binding and pristine gold hardware, this stunning instrument has to rank among the prettiest of guitars ever made.

The impeccable condition of this 20 year old guitar qualifies as NOS — New Old Stock !

This guitar is flawless. You simply will not find a cleaner, more unspoiled, immaculate example … anywhere.

This superlative instrument is the Top-Of-The-Range Yamaha SG and it features all of the best innovations of this very successful range, including the much vaunted Spinex pickups. This fabulous guitar is for the most discerning of musicians. The mahogany/maple/mahogany thru-body neck with ebony fingerboard delivers legendary sustain with a super-low action and the pair of Yamaha Spinex alloy humbucking pickups with split-coil taps provide a wide tone palette.

However, this beautiful instrument could also be an attractive investment proposition for collectors that is destined to increase in value as Yamaha will not be making these ever again.

Aided by Carlos Santana's endorsement in the mid-1970's, the Yamaha SG range single handedly changed perceptions of Japanese guitars that had previously not been taken seriously by musicians. These days, the SG range has a fanatical following and is widely accepted as superior in consistent build quality to the Gibson Les Paul that inspired its design.

This superlative Yamaha SG 3000 Custom guitar is supplied in a brand new SKB fitted flightcase.
