Low serial number Teye Electric Gypsy in Teye OHSC. Very light play wear. Built by the master himself in his original shop in Austin TX (pre-Nashville mass production move).
Teye was inspired to investigate the sonic properties of aluminium plating and special inlays; hand crafted plates and custom inlays add beauty, clarity and pop to the Teye sound.
Beautiful Mahogany body and neck. This is both a work of art and an amazing player that will last a lifetime.
Teye was inspired by and surpassed the Zemaitis guitar brand and metal top style. I’ve added a video of Teye himself demoing the vast array of sounds available with his proprietary passive pickup system that gives these guitars unmatched versatility in producing a wide range of tones.
There's also a tone “cheat sheet” from Teye in the photos that is really helpful for getting the most out of this guitar.
