Pono ULN4-2 All-Solid Long Scale Baritone Ukulele

All solid wood mahogany large, long-scale baritone ukulele hand-built by old-school luthiers on the island of Java. Pono ukuleles are well-known for their high-quality and attention to detail. All of the instruments first pass through the hands of the Kitakis family on O'ahu before being sent out to dealers.

There are a few superficial scratches on the bottom of the lower bout and the lower waist (when played right-handed). Please see the photos and if you need more I will be happy to provide them. These are cosmetic only, are only in the finish (not the wood), and do not affect play. Grading it Very Good to be conservative as it is Excellent in my view but better to be sure.

These big baritone ukuleles are loud and proud and full-throated. They are not subtle. They have a 21.4" scale and are shaped and braced like mini guitars. They ring and resonate like them too! For a great demo and all the specs and details just do an internet search for the model number and these words: "The Ukulele Site" and you'll find a video of Kalei Gamiao tearing one of these up.

These are not all that easy to find. Reverb has some of the earlier tenor guitars from Pono. The "N" in the model number stands for "nylon" - these do not use steel strings. They are definitely ukuleles. All new models will come with the gig bags you see in that TUS listing. This instruments comes with the original, branded "Ko'olau/Pono" hardshell case (not the gig bag).
