Up for sale we have a 2000 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Classic in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish with original Gibson USA branded pink plush lined hardshell case. Made in the USA. All parts original to the guitar to the best of our knowledge. The guitar is in very good used condition showing only light cosmetic wear throughout with some superficial pick scuffs on the top, some dings and dents (mostly allocated to the backside of the body) and a 1 1/2" x 3/4" patch of worn finish on the backside of the body near the bottom edge (see photo). Aside from that the guitar is very nice and has been played and enjoyed over the years, but not abused. This 1960 Classic features a 24 3/4" scale length, solid Mahogany body, Flamed Maple top with cream binding, cream single-ply pickguard with silver debossed "1960" logo, equipped with it's original pair of double black bobbin Gibson USA humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, a 496R in the neck position and a 500T in the bridge position, each pickup has a dedicated volume and tone control, gold "Bonnet" knobs, 3-way pickup selector switch with cream "poker chip" and amber switch tip, chrome ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic stop tailpiece bridge with six adjustable steel saddles. The neck is solid Mahogany and features a slim taper 1960 style "C" shape profile measuring .800" deep at the first fret and .910" deep at the twelfth fret. Width at the nut measures 1 11/16". The Rosewood fingerboard features cream binding, a 12" radius, pearl inlaid trapezoid fret markers and 22 original medium jumbo frets. The frets show little play wear and have tons of life left. The neck is nice and straight and plays great up and down the fingerboard with no high frets or dead spots. The truss rod is accessible at the headstock, it turns smoothly and functions as it should.
